Life presents many stresses and challenges. During these times of great uncertainty, having the support of understanding, non-judgmental individuals can help us navigate various difficulties. My therapy services provide a range of tools to effectively cope with problematic behaviors and uncomfortable emotions.
With over 30 years of experience as a licensed psychologist specializing in working with children/young adults (as well as adults in mid-life), I bring a combination of expertise and passion for working with individuals in diverse settings. In addition to being a therapist, I am also a ceramic artist and teacher, which enhances my ability to connect with individuals in a nurturing and creative way.
My therapeutic approach emphasizes the power of connection, meaningful conversations, and various behavioral techniques to address concerns. I understand that talking to a new professional can feel intimidating (especially for children). To create a comfortable and engaging experience, I incorporate art materials - particularly clay, as a tool to facilitate communication, foster self-expression, and support the healing and transformative process.
